Unusual Art work, c1940s by a Swedish artist - Dahlin (possibly Bengt Dahlin or Sven Dahlin...) Oil Painting on rough canvas, in bright, thick colors, with pronounced contours. Our gaze through the trees is directed towards a small pond, towards the pier.
The painting is signed - Dahlin and dated 44 or 49. The canvas itself is in vintage condition and was most likely cut from the original stretcher and later inserted into an old frame. It is held in place by buttons. In the left corner there are two small defects, cuts to the canvas, approximately 2 cm although not noticeable overall.
